Flea Markets and Yard Sales

Hip, hip, hooray! Debbiedoos is having a party! It's a newbie blogger party, so come and join all the fun.

Today, I thought I'd blog about one of my passions: Buying other people's stuff! I love going to flea markets and yard sales. I'm always on the search for that perfect item that I need. I love collecting. Right now, I collect tea cups, white pitchers, dolls and books. Here are some things that I've purchased over the last few months.

I found this print in a small antique mall. I'll be re-framing this later with a wider black frame. I love the vintage image and the cats.

Another tea cup for my collection! This is made by Royal Chelsea and is fine bone china.

This is a Carnival glass butter pat dish, made by Mosser.

Milk glass dolphins are something else that I collect. I found this single guy waaaaay down in Eastern Kentucky. This candleholder was only $1. I already have a set of these with a round base.

Ohhhh, I love Harrison Ford! And since I can't have the real one, I decided to settle for his plastic double.

Thanks so much for stopping by :)

Thanks for your nice comment on my new blog. I'm your newest follower now and look forward to more posts. I also LOVE white pitchers...I go for more of an off-white. I have some pics ready of shelves in my kitchen where I have some pitchers displayed. Hopefully I'll get it together soon. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
