Noritake China

I'm running very late today! I took all these photos last week, so that I'd have plenty of time to prepare my post. Alas, I'm an excellent procrastinator and am only just now getting around to this. "Tomorrow is another day" is my most favorite motto-- Lol-- I think I've watched GWTW one too many times!

This week I'm sharing a Noritake cup and saucer set. It's a very pretty white color with a teal bamboo design. The pattern is called "Oriental".

The interior of the cup is plain white, while the rim is trimmed in gold.

I like the double gold trim on the handle.

Noritake China is made in Japan. In the photo below, you can see the backstamp.

This cup and saucer is part of a much larger set. Here, in these next two photos, are a couple of glimpses at some of the other pieces in this line of china.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

P.S. In case anyone is trying to contact me: For whatever reason, I'm currently unable to access my Yahoo email (thattagirl76). Each time I try to log in, Yahoo gives me a security question. The problem is, I don't remember selecting this particular question, so I have no idea as to the answer. I've tried to contact Yahoo via their online form, but again, I have to answer this question first-- with the correct answer b/c if I don't, the form won't go through. So crazy! I hate to give up this email, but I guess I'll be without a choice :)

Beautiful! I love this old fashion Noritake design, it's lovely. I'm sure they did only Oriental when they first started. Big hugs,
fabby

Hi Michelle,
That is such a pretty pattern. The double gold trim on the handle is a nice touch. Thank you so much for sharing with us today and have a lovely Summer.
