Hello and welcome! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! It rained last week, from Thursday thru Sunday, but that didn't stop the fireworks. This week is a complete contrast to the end of last week: lots of sunshine yesterday and today. It's smouldering hot outside right now, but I'm not complaining. I love the sun and its accompanying heat!
This week I'm sharing this sweet, little tea cup and saucer set.
Oops! Someone didn't pull the aqua color all the way down on this panel. The tea cup has three little feet with a dash of gold on each one.
I want to say this is a Chinoiserie pattern, but I'm not 100% sure. It's very shiny. Neither the cup nor saucer are marked, so I don't know who the maker may be. I'm leaning toward "made in Japan".
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Your cup is so beautiful. I love it, especially with the little feet. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sweet cup! Love those colors and the vintage feel the florals give to it. I am guessing Japanese or Chinese...considering the little gold designs on it.
ReplyDeleteI don't see lily of the valley cups that often, and this one is truly dear.
Hugs,
Terri
Oh I just adore that unmarked teacup!
ReplyDeleteLily of the Valley is so sweet and delicate!
I especially love footed cups like that - they're getting more and more rare!
