The cup and saucer, I chose for this week, are on the petite side.
I love the blue on this cup and saucer. Blue is one of my favorite colors. I like how it contrasts with the gold trim and the white background.
The cup curves outward at the top, then has a few lines of ribbing as the curve comes back in. Some of the gold trim looks a little black, but I swear-- it's all gold!
The cup and saucer were made by Steubenville Pottery, located in Steubenville, Ohio. They were in business from 1879 - 1959. The image above the company's name represents Fort Steuben.
I pulled out this ironstone plate to pair with my cup and saucer. This is made by the Johnson Brothers from Coaching Scenes: Hunting Country.
It's the perfect size for my store bought, banana nut muffin. For packaged muffins, you buy off the grocery-store shelf, Otis Spunkmeyer can't be beat. They are always delicious.
And I'm going to enjoy this muffin with my petite cup of tea.
Thank you so much for visting today!
